This means that companies not only have to offer competitive salaries, but also attractive benefits. There are many possibilities: job or Germany tickets, tax-free benefits in kind, subsidized JobRad or other health offers, lunch, further training and much more. But what if money is tight?

Discount platforms advertise the fact that they are free and uncomplicated. So they're actually just the thing for tight budgets. But is there any added value for employees?

Our research shows: An average of €400 more from your net salary per year is possible - and more than €1,000 for larger purchases

Probably only if people consume excessively, right? Let's take a look at where the figures come from.

The basis for this is provided by the Federal Statistical Office in its data on consumer spending by private households throughout Germany in 2022(2).

We use the offers on our own FutureBens platform from April 2025 as the basis for the discounts and discount codes

The following savings potentials arise for a household:

  • Food & drugstore (e.g. Koro, Purelei, organic products)
    → approx. 10% discount, with regular use savings of around €120-150/year
  • Fashion & accessories (e.g. ArmedAngels, ARKET, Ace & Tate)
    → approx. 20% discount, with 3-5 purchases per year savings of around €80-120/year
  • Technology & household (e.g. sustainable electronics, kitchen accessories)
    → approx. 15% discount, savings of around €50-100/year depending on purchase
  • Fitness, mobility & leisure (e.g. job bike accessories, public transport discounts, sustainable sportswear)
    → approx. 15% discount, savings of around €80-100/year

In just four categories of daily needs, the total savings are between €300 and €450 per year. Without additional costs for the company, without administrative effort for HR and without salary conversion. That is the advantage of discount platforms.

Companies do not have to release budgets, set up a new system or replace other benefits. Discount platforms are free and easy to maintain. Employees can save up to €400 a year thanks to the discount codes provided. So, what are you waiting for?
