People affected by natural disasters or humanitarian crises have the right to solidarity and help! Since 2001, the alliance organizations have been pooling their many years of experience in humanitarian aid abroad. In exceptional cases, Aktion Deutschland Hilft is also active in Germany. In the event of a disaster, the alliance members coordinate their knowledge and skills with each other, complement their relief efforts and pool their resources efficiently. This reduces overlaps and gaps in supply in the run-up to global aid missions.
